AKKERMAN INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME – MORA

Nancy Raiche, of Mora, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Welia Health in Mora.  She was 71 years old.

A GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora.

INURNMENT will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora at a future date.

Nancy Louise Raiche, of Mora, died on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Welia Hospital in Mora. She was 71 years old.

Nancy was born March 12, 1950 at the Mora hospital in Mora, Minnesota to parents Ernest and Goldie (Gross) Grummons. Nancy was the second oldest of two sisters and two brothers. She lived in Mora most of her life, except for the years she was married and lived in Isle, MN. She worked at Fingerhut for many years and then as a certified home health aide for Kanabec County.

Nancy enjoyed gardening, fishing, and walking. One of her favorite things was going to the cemetery and helping with the flowers. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. But her most favorite thing in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Sandy Gummons, and brother-in-law Clint Towle.

She is survived by her children, Missy (Rick) Lockman of Midwest City, OK, Duane (Jeanette) Raiche, Barbara Raiche and Jennifer Raiche all of Isle, MN; sisters, Pat Towle and Bonnie (Terry) Holmes; brothers, Donnie Grummons, and Richard (Kay) Grummons all of Mora, MN;
grandchildren, Amanda, Hunter, Hayden, Natalie and Faliesha; great grandchildren, Marissa and Annabella; plus many nieces and nephews.

  1. We are heartbroken to hear of Nancy’s hospitalization and now of her passing. Nancy was such a wonderful and kind person.
    Condolences to Nancy’s family & friends. Nancy will be greatly missed.

  2. I worked with Nancy at Serenity Haven and enjoyed her company. She will be sadly missed. My sympathies to her family!

  4. I’d like to express my heartfelt sympathies to Nancy’s family and friends. Nancy and I met at KHC, where she was volunteering to work in our Research Department. She will be sadly missed.

  6. Nancy was a great friend,she worked at Kanabec County then volunteered her time in the Family Health Office. She will be greatly missed. She did love flowers, great movies & books. Her family she loved so much,talked about them everyday! Prayers for her family.
