Marilyn was born on February 9, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Alina (Marquardt) Lorensen. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1971. Another of Marilyn’s interests was scrapbooking which she did daily. She made beautiful photo albums for each of her children and grandchildren. She was always excited and looked forward to her retreats with her scrapbooking friends.
Marilyn’s other hobbies included cross stitch, mini golf, and playing games with family and friends. She always enjoyed an evening of pinochle with cousin Phil and his wife Sylvia. Marilyn enjoyed decorating for any holiday and was always happy when the Christmas lights went up.
