GLEN ALLMAN, of Mora, MN died on Monday, July 12, 2021 surrounded by family and friends at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was 61 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Douglas Larson officiating.

The Funeral Service for Glen.

VISITATION will be Thursday, July 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora, plus one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the church.

INTERMENT will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Grace Lutheran’s music programs.

Glen Allman, of Mora, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 surrounded by family and friends at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. He was 61 years old.

Glen was born on February 26, 1960 in Mora, Minnesota to parents Leslie and Anna (Erickson) Allman. He graduated from Mora High School in 1978. Glen began his life long career in construction at Redstone in Mora right after high school. In 1990, he took a job with the State of Minnesota in highway maintenance and project inspection where he continued to work until his passing.

Glen was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and was active with the Choir and played trumpet in the Brass Ensemble. He spent many years helping with trail maintenance for the Vasaloppet ski races. Glen loved to travel especially his yearly golf trips, taking cruises, trips to Las Vegas, fishing trips to Canada, and gathering at the family cabin on Cadotte Lake. Most of all, Glen loved his family and the time spent with them. He will be deeply missed.

Glen is preceded in death by his mother Anna, brother Steve, and mother-in-law Deanna Akkerman.

He is survived by his wife Carol; daughters, Bethany (Dustin) Smith and Rebecca (Quinten) Maslonkowski; grandchildren, Dayton, Aiden, Cadence, and Kyler; father Leslie Allman; brother Jeff (Coleen) Allman; sister Trudy (Harry) Urban; father-in-law John Akkerman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
