Nancy Rae (Dolezal) Peterson, of Mora, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  She was 82 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora.

VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

Nancy Rae (Dolezal) Peterson, of Mora, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 82 years old.

Nancy was born on September 20, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Theodore and Helen (Huber) Dolezal. On September 27, 1958, Nancy was united in marriage to Charles Peterson.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, son Timothy, a brother and sister.

She is survived by her children, Jodi (Gregory) Alt, Daniel (Brenda) Peterson, Kenneth (Mary) Peterson, Jill (Michael) Trutwin; daughter-in-law Tammie (Chris) Kavaloski; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; Nancy is also survived by many relatives, friends, and special longtime friend Mary Lou Lambert.

Nancy was the biggest inspiration in my life being that Ken and I were the biggest of friends since kindergarten now to be grown into best friends in the world Nancy just would make my day with hello al how you doing and sometimes I would love to talk with her then see Ken. I even gave Nancy) mom) a ring I wanted to give a girl but the girl wasn’t right Nancy wore it for years or she might have put it on when she knew I was coming to visit who knows but she always made you gill like you are somebody…there will be nobody like Nancy Petersen aka mom
