Aaron Odencrans, of Ogilvie, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Sauk Rapids.  He was 39 years old.

No services are being held at this time.

Aaron Zachary Odencrans passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Sauk Rapids, MN. He was 39 years old.

Aaron was born on November 3, 1981 in Mora, Minnesota to parents Steven and Susan (Rosenau) Odencrans. He graduated in 2000 from Ogilvie High School; achieving his Associate of Arts Degree while attending classes at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Cambridge during his junior and senior years of high school. He also attended some college in Duluth.

He was born again and had a deep love for God and people. (2 Corinthians 5:1-7) Our bodies are like tents that we live in here on earth. But when these tents are destroyed, we know that God will give each of us a place to live. These homes will not be buildings that someone has made, but they are in heaven and will last forever. While we are here on earth, we sigh because we want to live in that heavenly home. We want to put it on like clothes and not be naked. These tents we now live in are like a heavy burden, and we groan. But we don’t do this just because we want to leave these bodies that will die. It is because we want to change them for bodies that will never die. God is the one who makes all of this possible. He has given us his Spirit to make us certain that he will do it. So always be cheerful! As long as we are in these bodies, we are away from the Lord. But we live by faith, not by what we see.

Aaron was very gifted in musical ability and taught himself the drums, guitar and piano at an early age.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Beverly and Larry Odencrans and Adelia and Adolf Rosenau.

Survived by parents Steven and Susan Odencrans of Ogilvie; uncles and aunts, Larry and Sharon Odencrans of Mora, Bob and Diane Odencrans of Mora, Jim and Tammie Odencrans of Woodbury, Ruth Elfering of Melrose, and Faith Urrutia of Dixon, Illinois; as well as many cousins and friends.
No services are being held at this time. Arrangements are by the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral home of Mora. Condolences may be posted at aifuneralhome.com

  1. Dear Family, my connection to Aaron was only through Facebook. I sensed he was a passionate man who loved Jesus. That gives us the hope of eternity with him in heaven where he is learning the wonder of God and experiencing answers he could not have on earth. Celebrate his homegoing with the thought that, albeit premature, he is better there than in his earthly temple.

My sympathies to all and may the God of all comfort abound in your trial. Yet as James says in Ch 1:2 “count it all joy when you suffer diverse trials.” Blessings in Jesus over you all.

  2. Aaron….I will miss our talks and you brilliant discussions on our GOD YEHOVAH and HIS WAYS. I know how much you loved HIM, and the passion that you had in your pursuit of HIS WAYS. We will see each other again Brother Aaron, and embrace and REJOICE TOGETHER. I LOVE YOU!
