Jack Johnson, of Mora, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.  He was 64 years old.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, no service are being held at this time.

Jack Johnson, of Mora, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at HCMC with family by his side. He was 64 years old.

Jack was born in Mankato, Minnesota on January 16, 1957 to Maynard and Janice (Goode) Johnson. He lived in Mora for most of his life. He was an over-the-road truck driver, and he had a fondness for fast cars and motorcycles. Jack was a good friend to many.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. It was sure to be an epic reunion.

Jack is survived by his loving family and dear friends.

  1. Sad to hear this. Had not seen Jack in many years, but always remember him and his Dad, Maynard. Will never forget when I had just moved to Mora and worked as a waitress at Sportsmen’s Cafe ~ graveyard shift (never had waitressed before). As I was waiting on them, Maynard asked if the potatoes were Idaho potatoes. I said I’d go ask the cook! Maynard and Jack never let me forget that! I sure liked both of them!

  2. Sorry to hear Jack passed. We were friends for many years. I always enjoyed seeing him with his Dad, Maynard and his Uncle, Merle.

  4. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy, with a good sense of humor. I hadn’t seen him in years, but we drove for the same company for awhile. He was a good driver, and a good man, with a big heart. He will be missed.

  5. I’ve known Jack since 2nd. Grade. He rode my bus before moving 2 town next 2 my grandma grahek. Jack n I have been good friends and we made a pack for ever 2 be friends. I was very shocked 2 here the news. Jack u will b very missed!!!!
