BONITA M. VOGEL

AKKERMAN INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME – MORA

Bonita Vogel, of Mora, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home. She was 88 years old.

A Private Family Service will be held

Bonita Mae Vogel (Sibert), passed away at home on January 6, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Lucille Helen Sibert (who she lost when she was only 5 years old); husband Rudolph “Rudy” Lammert Vogel; son Dan Lee Vogel and triplets.

She is survived by her kids, Lucy (LeRoy) Schaefer, Janet (Paul) Lindberg, Janice (Robert) Beseth, Margie (Dave) Bertilson, Edie (Steven) Breeden, Cindy Vogel and John Vogel; 26 grandkids; 48 great grandkids; 16 great great grandkids; cousins; her pets, Scooby and Frisky; friends, and so many more that called her aunt Bonnie and grandma that with loving arms she never let go.

All because two people fell in love.

She had no siblings but loved Stu, Sue, Kevin and Bobby Varner like they were. She loved mowing her lawn for hours, playing cards and making wooden toys for her grandbabies. She wanted a large family; she succeeded and loved every minute she spent with them.

She lost her husband Rudy when she was 43 after 25 years of marriage and continued farming for 30 more years, even after being gored by her bull.

She rode a shooting star to heaven amongst beautiful frost covered trees. So many memories, forever in our hearts.

We love you more.
