  2. My mom, Frances Johnson Taylor, loved going to Alta to have her hair permed and cut. It was probably in the 1960’s -70’s. I and my sisters went there many times also. I remember the shop was in the basement of their home. Mom always enjoyed their visits, even after Alta closed her salon and opened her store. Our condolences to the family. A life well lived. 3. I am sorry for your loss, Alta was a mentor within the Cosmetology field, assisting me during my time of need with my mom’s hair after her death. Thank You Alta, rest in peace.

  4. So sorry to hear of Altas passing. She is my son Gage Millers Great Grandson. She was a wonderful woman and spent lots of time with him in his younger years. She will be missed by many. Very sorry and praying for everyone.

  5. My deepest condolences to your family in this time of grief. Alta was so sweet to me. I went to her bra shop as a shy teenager in desperate need of kindness and assistance. Alta provided that and more. What a gem she was! She was one of a kind and dearly missed. I will always remember her fondly.

  6. Dear Claudia, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. Your mom & dad were always so kind to my parents, Vince & Lorraine. They visited them frequently & always brought some delicious treat or food with them. I will always remember their thoughtfulness. They are together again with Jesus.
