Roberta Lea Reynolds, of Mora, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Estates at Rush City.  She was 71 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora with Pastor Randy Mitchell officiating.

VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

INTERMENT will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 16, 2019 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Roberta Lea Reynolds, of Mora, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Estates in Rush City. She was 71 years old.

Roberta was born on January 5, 1949 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Arthur and Caroline (Marlow) Case. She grew up in her family home in St. Paul spending many hours and days hanging out with her cousins and friends. In her 20’s she attended a truck driving school and got a job working for Midland.

In 1977 she met the love of her life, Mark Thomas Reynolds, and they married on April 29, 1978. They lived their first year of marriage in Little Canada before moving to their home in Mora in the fall of 1979. Together they raised two children, whom she home-schooled through the 12th grade. As a family, they enjoyed camping and many vacations together. One of her favorite things was coaching H.E.A.R.T. baseball. Roberta enjoyed watching baseball, playing cards, fishing, and knitting. She put God first in her life but also loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Mildred Bertha Case, sister Bonnie N, and cousin Sherry Palmer.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mark; children, Joshua (Morgan) Reynolds and Sarah (Joe) Buxton; grandchildren, Alexandria Reynolds, Brittany Reynolds, Clayton Reynolds, Arden “AJ” Buxton, and Elizabeth Buxton; cousins, Gloria (Mick), Bob (Pam), Doug (Joanna), Denise, and Michelle (Joe); many other relatives and friends.

  3. Roberta was the best childhood friend that I ever had, and so a piece of my heart died with her. – But Roberta was also a Christian, so I know that I will see her again someday. – Roberta told me in 2009 that she missed her sister Bonnie who had died, and now she is with Bonnie.
