Phyllis Myrel Bicking was born on July 23, 1925 to John and Flora (Bowman) Bicking in Gary MN. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at St. Clare ‘s Living Community in Mora. She was 94 years old.

Phyllis grew up with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She graduated from the 8th grade in Polk County in 1939. The family moved to the Braham area shortly after.

She married Donald Danielson on October 9 1948. They purchased a farm close to the small town of Brunswick in 1951, and lived there for over 40 years. They raised five children, Paulette, Jerry, Jim, Valerie and Jon. They sold the farm and moved to town in 1993 to enjoy retirement. Eventually they downsized again and became tenants at the Dala Apartments. For the past few years Phyllis has been a resident of St. Clare’s Living Community.

She became a born again Christian at age 16, and her devotion to Christ never wavered. Her ultimate goal was to grow in the knowledge of the Bible and be a better witness for Him. She taught Sunday school, Bible School, and led a home bible study for many years. Her wish was that everyone knows the Lord as their personal Savior.

While we will miss her immensely, we can rejoice at her leaving for her heavenly home. We will always miss you and love you, Momma, and await the day we will meet you on the Heavenly Shore.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Polly (Dennis) Schmitz, Jerry (Jess), Jim (Karen), Valerie (Mike) Bridgman, and Jon (Laurie), 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
