Margo Molin, of Mora, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at her home.  She was 69 years old.

A private family celebration of Margo’s life will be held in the spring of 2020.

Margo Annette Molin, of Mora, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at her home. She was 69 years old.

Margo was born on February 18, 1950 in Brainerd, Minnesota to parents Earl W. Molin and Linnea “Inky” (Lindholm) Ingeborgh. The second oldest of six children, Margo moved around quite a bit as a child until the family finally settled near Mora.

Margo worked for Knights Tool and Plastics for more than 25 years. She also liked to volunteer her time working at the Goodworks Thrift Store in Mora.

Margo loved animals and had many beloved dogs, cats, and fish over the years. Most of all, she loved her horse that was her faithful companion for 25 years. She also liked to knit and crochet; making blankets, mittens, and socks for her family. She loved to take a daily walk in the woods with her dog. She will be dearly missed.

Margo was preceded in death by her parents, uncle George Lindholm, and aunt Helen (Peter) VanMilligan.

She is survived by her siblings, Diana Molin of Mora; Roger (Katie) Molin of Austin, TX; Earl (Sandy) Molin of Mora; Ted (Linda) Molin of Omaha, NE; and Cindy Scott of Portland, OR; longtime friend and companion Harold Schwindt; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
