Dennis was born on May 22, 1961 in Mora, Minnesota to parents Anthony and Mary (Jansen) Kunst. He grew up on the family farm with five siblings. He attended Ogilvie Public Schools, graduating in 1979.
Dennis had many jobs, but loved farming most of all. He worked on many farms over the years but really enjoyed working with his dad. Dennis passed his love of farming onto his son Clinten and in 2014, they started farming together. He loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling. Dennis was a wonderful boyfriend, dad, and grandpa. He will be dearly missed. “No one fights Alone”.
Dennis is preceded in death by his brother Mike, infant brother Richard, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Cheryl Bos; children, Ashley (LeRoy) Haugen and Clinten (Cassie); grandchildren Landyn and Skylee; parents Anthony and Mary Kunst; sister Barb (Gordy) Ranta; sister-in-law Laurie Kunst; his beloved dog Spike; many other relatives and friends.

So sorry Cheryl. He has been a courageous fighter. Love to you and the kids and his family.
I am so sad to hear of the passing of Dennis. Dennis was my best friend growing up in Ogilvie. We had a lot of fun hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and just hanging out. We took a road trip to the east coast (Virginia Beach, VA) together and he stayed with me for a few weeks. He couldn’t wait to get back to the farm and the country life as that is where he was happy. My condolences to Cheryl and all of the Kunst family.
