Jacqueline Lee Perrizo, of St. Louis Park, MN, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2019 at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring, MN. She was 86 years old.

Jackie was born on April 7, 1933 to parents Leo W. and Lorry C. (Alby) Perrizo in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from St. Margaret’s Academy in Minneapolis. At the age of 52 years she received a BA degree from the University of Minnesota.

At a young age, youthful rebellion took her to Corpus Christie, TX. She then moved to Tucson, AZ before moving to Orlando, FL and working for Northwest Airlines. The airlines eventually transferred her to Minneapolis and she returned home. During this time she earned her pilot’s license. Jackie’s first solo flight was in April of 1955. After Northwestern Airlines she worked as a paralegal at a downtown Minneapolis law firm.

For vacations she traveled to Italy, Israel – where she participated in an archaeological dig, and Paris. She traveled three times with her sister, Jeannie, to visit their brother David in Panama. Jackie always enjoyed short stays at her parents’ cabin near McGregor, MN.

One of her greatest pleasures was water coloring. Friends and family looked forward to receiving Christmas cards on which she painted miniature pictures of flowers from her garden, or of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed book club, visiting with her 39th Avenue friends and Thursday morning coffee with Juanita and Susan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David.

She is survived by her sister Jeanette (Dennis) Reyerson; sister-in-law Glorianne Perrizo; four nephews, Paul (Karla) Reyerson, Christian (Eva) Reyerson, Steven (Johnie) Perrizo and David (Christine) Perrizo; five great nieces and nephews, Natalie, Greta, Theo, Owen and Garret; plus her many friends.
