ROCK INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME -BRAHAM

Jean Nyman, of Braham, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her home.  She was 88 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Braham Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Julie Beck officiating.

VISITATION will be held from 12:00 noon-2:00 pm on Saturday, prior to the service at the church.

INTERMENT will be in the Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham.

Jean Nyman, of Braham, MN died on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was 88 years old.

Jean was born on September 19, 1930 to Rhoda Irene (Southwick) and Robert James Fealy in Warroad, Minnesota. She moved to Portland, Oregon during World War II with her family. After the war the family moved to Stanchfield, Minnesota where she went to school and met her husband James. James and Jean married Christmas Day 1949. Their daughter Lori was born in 1956. They lived in a number of different places in the cities before settling on their farm in Stanchfield in 1978.

Jean loved camping with family and friends traveling all over northern Minnesota, doing crafts like cross-stitch and sewing, and reading countless romance books. She enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife from her deck. She also continued to enjoy going to James and Jean’s favorite local bar, the Outback, and being lucky at pulltabs.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband James Nyman; daughter Lori Milless; parents Irene and Robert Fealy; brothers, Wally Fealy and Dale Fealy; sister Arlene Bennett; brothers-in-law Dale Teich and Red Bennett; sister-in-law Carol Fealy.

Jean is survived by her granddaughters, Kendall (Blake) Olson , Emma Milless; great granddaughter Abby Olson; son-in-law Brad Milless; brothers, Richard Fealy and Ron (Roxanne) Fealy; sister Pat Teich; brother-in-law Paul (Sharon) Nyman; many nieces and nephews; as well as two special Tylers and Kelli. She will greatly missed by her family and close friends.
