Margaret Lucht, of Braham, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming, MN.  She was 83 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Braham with Rev. Tim Renstrom officiating.

VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (from 10:00-11:00 a.m.) on Saturday at the church.

INTERMENT will be at Rice Lake Cemetery.

Margaret Ann Hilda Lucht, of Braham, MN, passed away on Tuesday February 5, 2019 in Wyoming MN. She was 83 years old.

Margaret was born April 14, 1935 to parents Raymond and Virgie (Sandeen) Knutson in St. Peter, MN. She grew up on a farm and was baptized and confirmed also in St. Peter.

Margaret was united in marriage to Maynard Lucht on September 28, 1957 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church and became a member of the church. Together the couple made their home on a farm east of Braham. They were blessed with two children, Roxann and Scott. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and loved the farm.

Margaret enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed and loved her family and grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband Maynard; brother Roland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and granddaughter Rocia Lucht.

She is survived by her children Roxann (Henry) Gutzkow of Grasston; and Scott (Lisa) Lucht of Braham; grandchildren Dallas, Ashley (Ryan), Jared (Nichole), Alyssa (Sonny) and Justin: sisters, Corrine Clarkin and Carole Knutson; brother Gene Knutson; plus many other relatives and friends.

  1. Our sympathy and prayers to the Lucht family. I have many fond memories of Margaret and Maynard. As neighbors, they would visit with my parents Charles and Delores Downing often. Margaret’s warm smile and sweet personality will be missed.
