Grant P. Baldwin of Mora, died on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.  He was 57 years old.

 A GATHERING OF FAMILY & FRIENDS will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018  with a PRAYER SERVICE at 12:30 pm all at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora.

INURNMENT will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Grant Peter Baldwin of Mora, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital. He was diagnosed with cancer and died days later. He was 57 years old.

Grant was born, the youngest of 5 children, to George Jr. and Jenny (Osterdyk) Baldwin. After high school, he worked for his father and brother George for many years at the Mora Bakery.

His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and masonry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends joking around. Grant was a wonderful brother, uncle, nephew and friend and will always be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents George W. Jr and Jenny Baldwin.

Grant is survived by his sister Regina Nerison; brother George (Diane); sister Ronda Bliss (Randall Espeseth); brother Greg (Debbie); uncles, Garrett and Casey Osterdyk; aunt Dorothy Baldwin; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends.

I hope that you are able to find some comfort in God’s promise of paradise where there will be no more pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4,5)  and the many wonderful  memories of your loved one becoming a reality in the future resurrection in paradise.  (Acts 24:15).   4. My heart is broke, I will miss you Cousin. It won’t be the same coming back to Mora and not being able to see you. I am so thankful that I was able to see you this summer. You will be missed, peace be with you.

  5. My condolences to the family and prayers for strength and healing. I have many fond memories of Grant and the fun we shared cruisin in that red “fast” chevy, drinking beers at the gravel pit and him sneaking me in his room only to him drop me off before the sun was even close to rising. He always had such a smile on his face when he put a dollar bill on the dash of that Chevy and said try to grab it as he took off!! he will be missed he was a great guy.

    I am so very sorry to hear of Grant’s passing. I will always remember him as my childhood friend. Grant was one of the kindest, most giving people I ever knew! He will leave this world a better place because of his presence!
