ROCK INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME – BRAHAM

Caroline Leuenberger, of Grandy, MN, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Cambridge Medical Center.  She was 85 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, October 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rush Point with Rev. Vicki Vander Vegt officiating.

VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.) on Monday, October 29th at the church.

INTERMENT will be at Calvary Lutheran Cemetery.

Caroline Amilia Leuenberger, of Grandy, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Allina Hospital in Cambridge, Minnesota. She was 85 years old.

Caroline was born to Lauris and Wilma (Schultz) Lund on January 1st, 1933 in Titonka, Iowa the oldest of 9 children. In her younger years she enjoyed watching her siblings and cousins.

On October 7, 1950 she married her lifelong husband, Paul Joseph Leuenberger. Together they raised five children: Terry, Patricia, Monica, Jack and Gail.

She worked at the Grandy Store, Braham Hospital, Cambridge State Hospital and as an Isanti County Home Health Aide. She retired in 1994 and enjoyed being a home body and family consultant. She loved her companions, Sherobie, a dog, and Chester, a goat.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul; children Terry and Monica; brothers Robert and Loren; and sister LaVonne.

She is survived by her children Patricia (Tim) of Mora, Jack (Marie) of Isanti and Gail (Tom) of Grandy; brothers Gene and Michael Lund; sisters Joan Selin, Norma Gomall and Sheryl Carlson; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; plus many other relatives and friends.
