Becky was born on October 27, 1947 to Thomas and Lorena Rowland (Ricker), in Melrose (Sauk Center) MN. Becky moved several times in her childhood. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1966, and went to beauty school in Minneapolis. She spent her career doing what she loved~ making other people look their best! She owned “Becky’s Beauty Nook” in Blaine, and also worked at, and eventually purchased “Hair I Am” in Cambridge, MN. She was blessed to have many coworkers, who became great friends.
She had a very strong faith in the Lord, and loved to pray the rosary. She was very involved in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham for many years.
Other ways that she found joy in life were bowling on a league, picking fresh raspberries and strawberries, flower gardening with her mother, and keeping her yard beautiful. She loved spending time with her family, and her grandsons had a special place in her heart.
Becky lived much of her life at her home on Rush Lake, in Stanchfield, MN, where she raised her son Casper, and cared for her parents. She spent her last 3 years at Elmhurst Commons in Braham, where she kept staff on their toes. Becky was their little spitfire, and they loved and cared for her very well.
