Dallas Lee Boyce, of Mora, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. He was 80 years old.

Dallas Lee Boyce, lovingly known as Lee, was born on August 22, 1938 in Sunrise, Minnesota to parents Rex and Mae (Carnes) Boyce. Lee graduated from Edison High School and joined the Navy shortly after. His love for fast-pitched softball brought him back to Harris, where he met and married his wife of 55 years, Darlene. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He coached his son’s baseball and hockey teams. Lee loved the outdoors and taught his sons how to fish and hunt at a very early age. He retired at the age of 62 from Thomas Engineering and enjoyed going fishing and hunting on his own land until his health declined. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Darlene; children, Kelly Jones, Rick (Donna) Boyce, and Tony (Becky) Boyce; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; siblings, Gary (Jan), Alan, and Janet (Jerry) Carlson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

RIP, Lee. Many fond memories. You covered a lot of ground playing centerfield for Harris and always had a smile no matter how far you had to chase down a ball. You will be missed, my friend.
