Autumn Christina May Olson, of Isle, a 2016 Ogilvie High School graduate, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home.  She was 20 years old.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 4:00 p.m. at the Ogilvie School Commons.

Autumn is survived by her parents Christa and Jeff Olson, siblings Angel Olson and Daniel Olson, fiancé Tyler Rutt, grandparents Holly and Rich Larson, Nancy Holmes and Jeff Olson Sr., as well as many family and friends.

Autumn graduated from Ogilvie High school in 2016 where she left her mark on both the staff, students and the walls of the school. Her love and talent for the Arts and Music drove her to create several murals within the school. Her artwork can be seen in many areas of the building. She spent two years as the diving coach for the Ogilvie swim team and starred in several productions including a starring role as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Other activities close to her heart were taking part in Speech, Choir, and Band. She loved to illustrate books and placed her creations in many competitions where she won numerous awards and medals for her work.

Her favorite pastimes were fishing, rock hunting and just being in nature. Autumn’s smile and generous spirit brought happiness to all who spent time with her. Autumn possessed a talent which helped those close to her be themselves as she encouraged them to follow their hearts.

Though her loss is deeply felt among her family, friends and the communities in which she lived and worked, the happiness she brought so many will remain as a bright light in each of us. She hopped, jumped and skipped into our hearts, and the world is a better place because of the time she spent in it.
