Christopher Podvin, of Mora, MN died on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the age of 37.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Don and Dawn Dailson home, 2369 Imperial Street, Mora, MN.

VISITATION will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Dailson home.

BURIAL will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

** Family prefers Memorials in lieu of flowers.

Christopher Scott Podvin, of Mora, MN, passed away on May 21, 2018. He was 37 years old.

Christopher was born October 11, 1980 in Coon Rapids, MN to Scott and Dawn (Nordeen) Podvin. He grew up in Mora, Ogilvie and Anoka areas. He was involved in wrestling, baseball, hockey and cub scouts.

He was married to Nikki Booth in Pine City. Together they have two children, Dakota and Cooper Podvin. Christopher and Nikki later divorced and he met Becki Umbrieght. They have a son Brady Podvin. After going their separate ways he met Stefanie Broehl and a forth son was born, Ayden Podvin.

Christopher worked for Shaffer Construction after high school until his bone disease (Ankylosing spondylitis) slowed him down.

He loved fishing; that was his sense of peace. He loved his boys with all his heart. He was very proud of his brothers, but also had his moments of butting heads with all the men in his life. Over all he had a huge heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Erma (Scherff) Podvin of Coon Rapids, MN and grandfather Gordon Nordeen of Mora, MN; aunt Penny (Podvin) Kramer and uncle Marty Rowe.

He is survived by his sons Dakota, Cooper, Brady and Ayden; father Scott and wife Kathy (Perez) Podvin; mother and stepfather Dawn (Nordeen) and Don Dailson; brothers Darrell Podvin (Leva Leverenz), Jerome and Erin (Elder) Podvin, and Covey Johnson (Ashley Folkema); grandmother Dusty Nordeen; step sisters Sarah (Dailson) (K) Osei, Lori (Damewood) and Mike Trott, Tracy (Johnson) and Randy Lindberg; plus many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
