Mary Pat Hendren, of Fridley, formerly of Stanchfield, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River, MN.  She was 79 years old.

A private family gathering will be held at a future date.

Mary Patricia “Mary Pat” (Duggan) Hendren, of Mpls, formerly of Stanchfield, passed away on Sunday December 24, 2017 at the Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River.  She was 70 years old.

Mary Pat was born on February 7, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Francis Vincent and Dorothy (Korpi) Duggan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Hendren.

Mary Pat is survived by 5 children, Ronnie (Phyllis) Youngren, Kimberli Sorbel, Steve (Pho) Sorbel, Becky (Bob) Johnson, Peter Youngren; siblings, Carol Walsh, Richard, Robert, and George Duggan; 13 grandchildren, Ron(Stacy), Sean(Isabel), Ryan(Kimmy), Sara(Mike), David(Jill), Jimmy(Rene), Stef(Mike),Joe, Cristina, Jake(Amy), Kali(Mike), Abbey and Grace; 12 great grandchildren, Braden, Declain, Eamon, Olivia, Isabel, Jameson, Finnegan, Emme, Josie, Tucker, Rylan and Chloe. Many step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary Pat was loved by many and will be missed.

  1. Ronnie, Kim, Becky, and families, I am so sorry for your loss. She had a smile that brightened my world. Her love was overflowing for her family. I wish I could have spent more time with her, and will miss her. She will always be in my heart. I thank her for all she’s blessed me with.

  2. Sorry for your loss, Mary was a very kind special lady to all that knew her. So many memories come to mind. Glad I had the chance to know her and enjoy part of her life. She is missed in my heart.

  3. Everyday i think of you and miss you mom. I went into a small old beautiful church in Mexico and prayed that you have found your peace, pain free and with perfect eyesight so that you may look down and watch over your beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
