Thomas Born, of Mora, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at home.  He was 67 years old.

GATHERING OF FRIENDS will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017 with a time of sharing at 3:30 pm at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora.

Thomas Richard Born, of Mora, Minnesota; passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at his residence. He was 67 years old.

Thomas was born July 19, 1950 in Forest Lake, Minnesota to Harold and Edith (Flesvig) Born. Thomas was the 2nd of 4 siblings and grew up in Ham Lake, Minnesota. He graduated in 1968 from Anoka High School.

Thomas had 3 children. His hobbies included trapping, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Thomas was a wonderful Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother David Born.

Thomas is survived by his 3 children, Pamela Born Councilman, Jeffery Thomas Born, Bradley Michael (Lisa) Born; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandkids; brother Russel Born and sister Roberta Hoff; many other relatives and friends.

  3. I am so sorry to hear the passing of Tom Born. We worked together at the recycling center in Mora. I enjoyed listening to his stories of the many things he accomplished over his life time. You will be missed Tom! Condolences to his family.
