David Harrington III, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud. He was 71 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Braham Covenant Church with Rev. Steve Jennisch officiating.
VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
INTERMENT will be at 10:00 am on Friday, July 28th at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
David Seward Harrington III was born on September 10, 1945 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to William and Ruth Harrington.
He grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota and after graduating high school he enlisted in the Navy. While serving his second term he was gravely injured and medically discharged. His bravery during Vietnam earned him a purple heart and Bronze medal.
Dave and his family resided in Braham, Minnesota where he was a member of the local VFW when their children were young and they later moved to Herman, Minnesota. He spent his final years in Cambridge, Minnesota. He had a passion for building model cars and drawing wildlife.
Dave passed away on July 24, 2017 at Saint Cloud Hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota after suffering a stroke and later a heart attack.
Dave is survived by his wife Lisa (Keuhn) Harrington, his daughters Nicki (Mike) Kreidermacher, Brandie (Daniel) Fiebing, Madison (Tom) Hieatzman, his sons Donald and Jonathon Harrington, his grandchildren Edward Kreidermacher, Kailey Hieatzman, Patrick Fiebing, Alissa Harrington, his cousins Jim (Peggy) Bulera and Christine Bulera and several nieces and nephews.
