Robert “Bob” Walberg, of Mora, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Estates of Roseville.  He was 77 years old.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Akkerman-Ingebrand Chapel in Mora.

MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service.

INURNMENT will be held at 10:15 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Robert Dale Walberg of Mora, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Estates of Roseville. He was 77 years old.

Robert, lovingly known as Bob, was born on September 8, 1939 in Siren, Wisconsin to parents Vernon and Wanetta (Sanders) Walberg.

Bob loved the outdoors; snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid reader and also enjoyed weight lifting. He will be missed for his unique sayings and quotes and his long conversations with family and friends around the kitchen table.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, two younger brothers, Gary and Richard Walberg, and son-in-law Bill Nystrom.

He is survived by daughters, Janet Walberg, Jean Walberg, and Jeannine Nystrom; son Robert (Chris) Kline; brothers, David and John Walberg; sisters, Jean Crawford, Janet Mategko, and Carol Froemming; special nephew Gerald (Linda) Sutliff; five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    I did enjoy conversations with Cousin Bob! I will miss talking with him. Rest in peace and comfort.
