Eli Gage Arispe Hentges, of Braham, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Braham. He was 2 months old.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Friendship Assembly of God Church in Braham with Pastor Gary Shaw officiating.

MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 pm.

Eli Gage Arispe Hentges was born on February 3, 2017 in Cambridge, Minnesota to Dillon Arispe and Shy Ann Hentges.

Eli was the light of his families’ lives. His smile was precious and his smell was so sweet. He loved to listen to music and look at the bright colors of his mobile. He always had a huge smile for his Mommy when she tweaked his cheeks. He will forever be in the hearts for his family. He is now dancing with the angels and smiling down on everyone.

Eli is survived by his parents Dillon and Shy Ann; grandparents, Paula Peterson, Todd Hentges, Michelle Hobbs, Stuart and Pam Schmidt, Jack and Judith Darlow; great grandparents, Duane Hentges, George and Julie Watson; Aunts and Uncles, Amanda Hentges and Josh Harron, Brandon Arispe, Joseph LaCount, Natasha Hobbs, Amanda Hobbs, Mike and Jade Hibbard, Bobby and Katrina Smith, Michael and Liesel Tubb-Schmidt, and Aja Niedorf; many cousins, great aunts and uncles, other relatives and family friends.

Eli is preceded in death by his uncle Michael Hobbs; great grandparents, Don and Gloria Hobbs and Lorna Peterson, and cousins, Tony and Josh.

  2. It is so sad to hear this. There are no words that can take your pain away. I, too, lost a child and know your pain. It was my one and only pregnancy. I saw this posting through my niece, Stefanie Farrier. I have not met you, but will keep you in my prayers for peace in your hearts.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear little loved one, and may the comfort of Almighty God be with you in your time of sorrow while you read at Revelation 21:3,4,5, from your copy of the Bible about His future promises to mankind to do away with everything on the earth that causes us pain, suffering and sorrow.

  4. I send my deepest condolences to Eli’s family at this most grievous time. The death of someone so young can seem so unfair. But God promises that soon tragedies such as this will be eliminated. This amazing promise can be found in the Bible at Revelation 21:4.

I am keeping your families in my Prayers; hoping you take the time to grieve, celebrate Eli’s every waking moment, surround yourself in Our Lords loving arms and this cross will become easier to bear.   6. We were so sorry to read about the loss of your precious Eli. We know that words can not ease your pain, but you can have faith that God has a plan for us to see our loved ones again on a paradise earth. At John 5:28 & 29 Jesus promises us, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…” God‘s word offers us so much comfort.
