ROCK INGEBRAND FUNERAL HOME – BRAHAM
Robert “Bob” Rosburg, of Braham, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at GracePointe Crossing West Gables in Cambridge. He was 86 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham.
VISITATION will be held from 4:00-6:00 prior to the service on Wednesday.
INTERMENT will be in held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 13th at the Karlsborg Cemetery in Burnett County, Wisconsin.
Robert William Rosburg, of Braham, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at GracePointe Crossing West Gables in Cambridge. He was 86 years old.
Robert was born on December 11, 1930 in Huntington, Iowa to parents Herman and Betsy (Ball) Rosburg. Robert and his parents eventually moved to a small farm just east of Lory Lake in rural Braham where they used primarily horses to farm in the early years which Robert greatly enjoyed. Robert went to school to become a welder and worked for a number of years doing various welding jobs.
On June 26, 1970, Robert was united in marriage to Vernone Nell Johnson at the Lewis Lake church. They made their home on the family farm until Vernone passed away in October of 2002. When Roberts health began to fail, he lived at a group home in Wyoming for a while, then Elmhurst Commons in Braham, and finally at GracePointe Crossings in Cambridge.
Robert loved horses, going to Rodeos and reading western magazines. He enjoyed country music, gardening, and working on the farm.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister.
He is survived by numerous first and second cousins, other relatives and friends
