Brian Rodenborg, of Mora, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 due to an auto accident. He was 38 years old.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Mora.

MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

INURNMENT will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

Brian John Rodenborg, of Mora, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 due to a car accident. He was 38 years old.

He was born to John and Gloria (Ponto) Robenborg on October 19, 1978 in Mora, MN where he grew up and attended Mora High School.

Brian was united in marriage to Beth Splettstoeszer on February 14, 2002 in Mora. He spent many years doing various jobs before buying the small engine repair shop from his dad in May of 2013; serving the Mora community for almost 4 years.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Everette Rodenborg and Lyle Ponto;and uncles, David Rodenborg, Everette Rodenborg Jr., and Dan Ponto.

He is survived by his wife Beth; 2 daughters, Haley and Hannah; grandson Chase; parents John Rodenborg and Gloria (Steve) Schindeldecker; sister Brenda Rodenborg; niece Ashley Rodenborg; grandmothers, Betty Rodenborg and Lorna Ponto; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

    I’m still shocked by this. He was a good neighbor, and I think he liked having the boys around, get some manliness in the house. He would smile when he’d see the boys in the grocery store, especially when Steven was getting chicken. I know you must have so many feelings and questions, just know there’s tons of people here for you. May you feel him when you close your eyes, the warmth on your face, and from the smile of a stranger… Lots of people love you. Hugs and prayers
