Victoria “Vicki” Anderson, of Mora, MN, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. Clare Living Community. She was 66 years old.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Living Hope Church, 2297 – 210 Avenue, Mora, MN, with Rev Steve Ekholm officiating.
MEMORIAL VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
INURNMENT will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
Victoria “Vicki” Ann Anderson, of Mora, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the St. Clare Living Community in Mora. She was 66 years old.
Vicki was born on September 21, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to her parents. She later was adopted by Charles Grosklags when he married her mother Dorothy (Baker) De Witt. Vicki attended Anoka Ramsey Community college where she earned a business degree. Throughout the years Vicki worked in customer service at Bekins, Target, Dennis Kirk, Metcalf Mayflower, and her final years were spent at Mora Chevrolet.
In September of 1968, Vicki was united in marriage to James Masters in South Dakota. They were blessed with four children, Mark, Lisa, James, and Geoff. Vicki later met James Anderson and they were married in April of 1985 in Anoka, Minnesota.
Vicki loved her family. She loved the holidays; especially dressing up at Halloween. She was an exceptional cook and baker; her special rum cake and Christmas spaghetti will always be remembered. Vicki loved to play board games with her family and even invented her own dice game. She had a talent for crocheting and made many blankets and gifts. In her younger years, Vicki was an avid bowler and enjoyed her bowling leagues. She enjoyed fishing from the shore on a warm summer day. Vicki will be remembered for her sense of humor and full body laugh. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Robin and Wayne Grosklags.
She is survived by her husband Jim; children, Mark, Lisa, James, and Geoff (Heidi) Masters; grandchildren Austin Drew, Reid, Ashley, Austin Lee Masters, and Drew Dahlberg; sister Deborah Grosklags; others relatives and friends.
