Marian Graber, of Mora, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.  She was 86 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Quamba Baptist Church with Rev. Ivan Fiske officiating.

VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

INTERMENT will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

Marian Hazel Graber, of Brook Park, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. She was 86 years old.

Marian was born July 24, 1930 in Brookings, South Dakota to Ralph and Annie (Arends) Harms. She grew up in Kanabec County along with two brothers and four sisters. She married Alden Graber at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kroschel on April 23, 1949 and together they raised eight children on their family farm. Marian spent her last month at Eastwood Senior Living in Mora.

As a homemaker, Marian enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, sewing, and crafting. She loved it when relatives and friends stopped in to play scrabble. She loved attending church and Bible studies and was willing to serve the Lord at St. John’s Lutheran and Quamba Baptist. Marian will be very much missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alden of 59 years, grandson Jeremy Graber and his infant daughter Marissa.

She is survived by children, Kathryn (Raymond) Koch, Rodney (Lynne), Barry (MaryJo), Galen (Jill), Terry, Kay McAllan, Kitty (Raymond) Schwantke, and Kevin (Laura), 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great granddaughter; sister Pearl Bremer; sisters-in-law; Mary Harms and Doris Harms; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
