June and I became friends back in 1968 when we lived in apts over Stanton Hdwe in Braham. We were so young back then and had some good times. I got to know Ev and “Go-Ya’ as my daughter called Junie’s sister Gloria and made many visits to the Park Cafe. Growing up and moving on with our lives we lost touch but I always remembered June, our kids and the days over the hdwe store. Will miss you June…thanks for the memories. Diane Christensen

Sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed going into the Park Cafe when she was working, which seemed like all the time. She even spotted me some money if I had forgotten to bring some. I hope I remembered to pay her back! I’m sure she’d let me know if I didn’t.
