Gary Voss, of Pine City, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home.  He was 67 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Open Arms Church in Grasston with Pastor Eugene Sherrod officiating.

VISITATION will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Rock Ingebrand Chapel in Braham and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

INTERMENT will be in the Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery.

Gary Ernst Voss, of Pine City, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on September 11, 2016 at his home from a brain tumor.  He was 67 years old.

Gary was born May 31, 1949 in Hutchinson MN to Ernst Edward Voss and Ethel Mae (Linderfelter) Voss.  He grew up on the family farm, third of six sibling and attended Cambridge High School where graduated in 1968. 

After high school he enlisted in the US Army and served his country from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War.  In July 1972 he met Charlotte Welch and they married December 16, 1972 at Springvale.  To this union 3 children were born.  Gary learned to cut meat at Kingers in Rush City.  He was blessed with a job at Cub Foods for many years.  Gary is a member of Open Arms Church in Grasston.  His hobbies included farming and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Shirley Anderson and Sharon Swedeen, brother Frank Griffith, brother-in-law Howard Doble, and son-in-law Robert Ducker.

Gary is survived by his wife Charlotte of Pine City, Cheri (Kent) Goodner of Pine City; Lori (Jason) Petersen of Taylors Falls; David Voss of Pine City; 8 grandchildren Cody, Matthew, Christian, Jacob, Emma, Angela, Samantha, and Samuel; sister Teresa Doble; brother Tom Voss; many in-laws, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
