Caroline Lindquist, of Mora, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the St. Clare Living Community in Mora. She was 88 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Mora with Rev. Mike Peterson officiating.
VISITATION will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, August 29th at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
INTERMENT will be in the Grasston Union Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer’s Research.
Caroline Pernelle (Drost) Lindquist, of Mora, MN passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the St. Clare Living Community in Mora. She was 88 years old.
Caroline was born on December 25, 1927 to parents Dick and Martha (Wynalda) Drost in Marion, South Dakota. When she was 12 years old, her parents moved to Mora, Minnesota.
On September 3, 1946, Caroline was united in marriage to Lester C. Lindquist. They lived in Mora most of their lives, except for the 10 years they lived in LeSueur, Minnesota. Caroline worked as a clerk at the Hall Drug Store in Mora for many years. She was a long time member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Mora.
Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Charles St. Sauver, sister Clara Ringler, and brother Harold Drost.
She is survived by her husband Lester; daughters, Linda (Paul) Anderson, Betty (Matt) St. Sauver, Susan (Tim) McNeilly, and Tammy (Mike) Lewandowski; grandchildren, Jeff (Rebecca) Anderson, Joe (Elizabeth) St. Sauver, Melissa (Sam) Pioske, Dan (Sarah) St. Sauver, Krista Anderson, Nate (Nikki) McNeilly, Tim (Nicole) St. Sauver, Mandi Voge, Angie (Jaren) Lukach, and Alex (Katlyn) Lewandowski; 19 great grandchildren; sister Marlys (Jim) Armstrong;
She is survived by her husband Lester; daughters, Linda (Paul) Anderson, Betty (Matt) St. Sauver, Susan (Tim) McNeilly, and Tammy (Mike) Lewandowski; grandchildren, Jeff (Rebecca) Anderson, Joe (Elizabeth) St. Sauver, Melissa (Sam) Pioske, Dan (Sarah) St. Sauver, Krista Anderson, Nate (Nikki) McNeilly, Tim (Nicole) St. Sauver, Mandi Voge, Angie (Jaren) Lukach, and Alex (Katlyn) Lewandowski; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Marlys (Jim) Armstrong; sisters in law, Ruth Drost and Florence Rask; and many other relatives and friends.
I love you Grandma. You will forever be in my heart.
