Rosalie “Rose” Gonshorowski, of Braham, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.  She was 87 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham.

VISITATION will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham.

INTERMENT will be in the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Braham.

Rosalie “Rose” Anne Gonshorowski (nee. Stein) at the age 87, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Abbott Northwest hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Rose was born on October 24, 1928 in Killdeer, ND; the daughter of Louis and Clara (Orzechowski) Stein.  She grew up on the family farm and attended school until she was 15 years old.  She later worked at a turkey farm and then moved to Roseau, Minnesota where she started working at a local restaurant.  It was there that she met Fabian Gonshorowski. They were united in marriage on September 14, 1956 at Roseau, Minnesota.  They made their home on a farm in Maple Ridge Township in Isanti County, MN where she has since lived.  Rose loved to garden and had many beautiful flowers and also a vegetable garden she worked in.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fabian, son Gerald, son-in-law John VanderVeen, 2 sisters, and 7 brothers.

She is survived by six children, Grace VanderVeen of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; Raymond and wife Debra of Oak Grove; Arthur and wife Shelly of Maple Grove; Wendell and wife Darla of Coon Rapids, Robert of Maple Ridge; and Nick of Maple Ridge; 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; 2brothers, and a sister;  many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
