Barb was born on May 3, 1939, to Everest and Florence Richardson. She married James Speers on January 17, 1959 exactly fifty-seven years before her passing.

They share four revered children together whom Barb was survived by, Brent (Kay) Speers, Tim (Wendy) Speers, Rob (Cheryl) Speers, Brenda (Jay) Emerson, twelve cherished grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.   Barb was also survived by her sisters, Arla Johnson, Marcy (Bob) Wiemann, and their families, plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Barb spent most of her life living in Mora, she loved to make people laugh, pull their legs, and get a reaction. She will be dearly missed by many family members and friends. We would like to thank everyone for their caring thoughts, supportive prayers, and generous donations.

I am so sorry to hear about Barb’s passing. I worked with Barb at the Cambridge Medical Center in housekeeping for 8 yrs. She was so fun & a very special lady. She always made me smile. I still have the snow globe & teddy bear she gave me when I left the department to take a position in a different area. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts & prayers are with your family.
