Heather faced many health challenges in her life, making her a determined and independent woman.  She was quiet and unassuming, very accepting and tolerant of others.  In 2005, she received a kidney transplant from her father; enjoying 10 wonderful years of good health.

I am so sorry to hear about Heather. I have many fond memories of growing up with her. Not only were we able to hang out often since we lived so close but we also got to spend lots of time together at church. I am so grateful that we were able to be roommates in Europe as well. She was a great person.
