Jeanne Vander Heyden, of Holdingford, MN, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, MN. She was 68 years old.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Isle with Rev. Paul Brown.
MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
INURNMENT will be in the Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Isle.
Jeanne Lynn (Grant) Vander Heyden, of Holdingford, MN, died on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, MN. She was 68 years old.
Jeanne was born March 25, 1947 in Mora, MN to Albert and Claritha (Quaster) Grant of Wahkon, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Isle; went to Wahkon Elementary School and Isle High School, graduating in 1965. She attended the Minneapolis School of Beauty; and after graduating from there she returned to Isle to work. She met James Vander Heyden and they were united in marriage on June 25, 1968. They farmed in Wahkon until 1977; then moved to Holdingford. She worked in the Special ED department at Holdingford High School until she retired in 2000 due to health issues.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Cliff Forcier; brother-in-law Kenneth Tramm; and grandson Jared Haglund.
She is survived by her husband Jim; stepson Blair (Robin) Cook; daughter Angela (Mark) Haglund; sons James John (Kristi) Vander Heyden, Jason (Heather) Vander Heyden, Tom Vander Heyden; sister Evelyn Tramm; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
