MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5th at Calvary Lutheran Church in Mora.

VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Marcia Irene Shackle, of Mora, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her home.  She was 74 years old.

Marcia was born on June 13, 1941 in Pease, Minnesota to parents Sam and Rena (Fylstra) Deboer. Marcia lived life to the fullest. She loved her flowers and enjoyed spending time in her garden. Holidays were always special because of Marcia.   She truly loved people and getting together with family and friends. Her cooking was homemade and there was never a meal she couldn’t handle.

Marcia was an avid garage-saler and always looked for the best bargain.  Her collection of over 1000 earrings were proof she also loved her blingy jewelry.  A loving wife, mother, grandma, aunt; anyone who met her loved her genuine smile and caring heart.

Anyone that knew Marcia and her caring nature fell in love with her. Marcia will be remembered for so many things but most of all, her love.

Marcia is survived by her husband Roger; children, Christine (Bernard) Cloutier, David (Cheri) Minks, Raynette Werlinger; Rogers’ children, Patrick Marshall, Arthur (JoAnn) Shackle, and Terri Schugel; sisters, Darlene Krengle and Eleanor (Bill) Bursack; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A beautiful lady inside @ out.
    God Comforts

  2. I’ve known Marcia a long time. We have both gone to Mora Anytime Fitness for years. Recently we started going to coffee with another friend after exercise class and enjoyed each others company greatly.
At exercise class one day I told her I liked her watch and she took it off her wrist and put it on mine!
She was a dear, sparkly person and I will miss her very much.

  3. I am honored to have called Marcia my friend. She was a wonderful, kind and thoughtful lady. The world will miss her smile and great humor. My deepest sympathy to Roger and her entire family. Our loss here on earth will truly be heaven’s gain.
