A. Klemz webphotoAnn Marie Klemz, of Braham, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at home.  She was 55 years old.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham.

MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ann Marie Klemz, of Braham, passed away after a two year battle with Leiomyosarcoma Cancer on Friday, May 29, 2015 with her family by her side.  She was 55 years old.

Ann was born on September 8, 1959 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents LuVerne and Lucille (Goedert) Klemz, the second of four children.  She began school in Coon Rapids, before the family moved to a farm northwest of Grasston in 1969.  She attended Braham High School, graduating in 1978.  Ann continued her education at Pine City Vocational School where she acquired a degree in accounting.  Ann began working at the Hinckley Clinic before transferring to the Cambridge Clinic where she remained for 35 years. Ann embraced the advancement of techonology. Ann was instrumental in initiating the Excelian project at the Allina Clinics and she worked tirelessly to make the system the best it could be. She installed this system in many clinics for Allina. As IT Senior Analyst, she was called upon to create reports and handle many projects.

Ann’s greatest love was her family, especially her nieces and nephews and their families.  She originated and planned yearly Klemz family vacations.  Ann loved photography and captured thousands of images of family, friends, and nature over the years.  She loved nature’s beauty and supported many eco-friendly causes and enjoyed biking and kayaking.  Ann loved technology and was always excited about a new gadget.  She will be dearly missed by her vast family and friends.

Ann is preceded in death by her father and an infant brother.

She is survived by her mother Lucille, siblings, Cathy (Gary) Lidke, Richard (Barb), and Daniel (Jonelle); nieces and nephews, Julia (Eric) Jarnot, Levi (Jennifer) Lidke, Brett (Stephanie) Klemz, Stephanie Klemz (Randy Silbaugh), Cody Klemz, and Drew Klemz (Sarah Gieseke); great nieces and nephews, Elena, Cole, Garett, Gage, Grady, Hayden, Jessa, Porter, Brady, and Peyton; many other relatives, coworkers, and friends.

A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Braham.   Music was provided by Joni Nelson and Gail Kling. Arrangements were by the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham.  Condolences may be posted at www.aifuneralhome.com.

  2. Lou and family, wish we could be there to hug you and tell you how very sorry we are. Ann will be missed so much from so many people. She put her stamp on this earth and one in our hearts that will never be forgotten. We love you all so much. Our sympathy goes out to all of you.
