J. Wroolie webphotoJames Wroolie, of rural Braham, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home.  He was 54 years old.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Chapel in Mora.

MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.

James Alton Wroolie, of rural Braham, passed away on February 25, 2015 at his home.  He was 54 years old. 

Jim was born March 1, 1960 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Alton and Hedy (Lehmann) Wroolie.  They lived in Minnetonka, MN before moving to a farm in Braham, MN where he lived the rest of his life. Jim graduated from Braham High School in 1978.  He married Marcia Drost on March 28, 1981. They were blessed with three children. Jim worked as a bulk truck driver and store manager for many years until he was unable to work.  He was in the process of starting up his own business when he passed away.  He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and best friend.  Jim loved God, living in the country, working with his hands, and being surrounded by family. 

Jim is preceded in death by his father Alton Wroolie.

He is survived by his wife Marcia Wroolie of Braham; children, Martin (Heather) Wroolie from Pine City, Felicia Vick from Sartell, and Justin Wroolie from Clovis NM; 6 grandchildren; his mother Hedy Wroolie; sisters, Kathy (Gary) Nelson of Burnsville, and Carol Wroolie of Montgomery; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Chapel in Mora with Tim Stratton officiating.  Arrangements were by the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham.
