S. Warner web photoShirley Warner (nee. Peppin), of Grasston, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home.  She was 73 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham with Fr. Donald Wagner officiating.

VISITATION will be held from 5- 8 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

INTERMENT will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Shirley Marie Warner, of Grasston, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home from cancer.  She was 73 years old.

Shirley was born on August 3, 1941 in Crookston, Minnesota to parents Leo and Stella (Harron) Peppin.  The family decided to move to the Minneapolis area.  This is where she married her husband Robert Warner and the couple was blessed with four children; Delbert, Daniel, Estelle, and Denise.  Shirley and Robert settled in Grasston, Minnesota where she loved to camp and crochet.

Shirley wss preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ellery and Stanley Peppin.

She is survived by her husband Robert; children Delbert, Daniel (Janice), Estelle (Steven) Martin, and Denise Warner; 3 brothers; James (Darla), Dale (Alice), and Jerry (Sherrie) Peppin; 3 sisters, Gale Meyer, Dorene Nelson, and Debbie Peppin; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was loved and will be missed.

Funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th at St. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Church in Braham with Fr. Donald Wagner officiating.  Interment was at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in St. Paul.

    Will certainly miss you and our long chats on the phone! Always appreciated your good advice and always being a true friend and helper to me! Thank you for your true concern for me when I lost David! You will never know how much that meant to me and how very much you consoled me through those hard times! May God bless you lots and lots!
