June 26, 1954, she was united in marriage to Merlyn G. “Brad” Bradley, at Opstead Baptist Church, NE of Isle. They raised their three daughters in Crystal. She enjoyed being involved in the girls’ activities as well as sewing, knitting, pets, gardening and special projects. Later, she was employed as a Special Education Para within the Robbinsdale School District. When Brad became ill, his brother Byron had read the Bible to him, prayed and shared the gospel truth. Prior to his death, Brad came to know the Lord Jesus as his Savior. He died November 9, 1984, having suffered from scleroderma.

Later, Bonnie met William “Bill” McDermott and they were married August 9, 1986, at Brunswick Methodist Church in Crystal. Together they enjoyed gardening and traveling.
