  1. To the Ahlgren/Olson families, I am sorry that I can’t be there to express my condolences in person. Jean was a lovely and gracious woman in every way and I have many good memories of her. I know you will keenly feel the loss but trust your many, many wonderful memories will provide some comfort.

  2. Dear Ahlgren Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Jean. She certainly led a full and interesting life and had a great family to share it with. It never seems to matter how young or old a person is when they pass when they have lived and loved so well here on earth. She leaves a void that cannot be filled but will, hopefully, be eased somewhat by the memories she’s left behind.
    My heart aches for you.
    Hugs to you all,
    Monica (Monie) Pontoni Dix

Her kindness, smile, and how she always made me feel welcome will be greatly missed. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family.

  6. To the Ahlgren/Olson families,

I am very sorry to hear the news about Great Aunt Jeans passing. I have some very fond memories of

her as a youngster. She was so comforting to me, especially when we watched the dock being torn away

at the lake and the floods of Mora in the summer I visited. That was her, an amazing woman who had

a strength in her core and achieved things most women didn’t dream of in her times. May you all live

through her spirit and cherish your memories with her. My deepest sympathy to you all, God Bless

  7. I was saddened to hear of Jean’s death. We spent many times visiting together at St. Claire’s when we were both there for rehab and also in her apartment. She was so proud of her family and loved them so much. I know you have many memories to share with one another. You have my prayers and deepest sympathy.

  8. Dearest Ahlgen Family
My mother, Ivy Johnson, told me of your loss and I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy. I remember Jean (always Mrs Ahlgen to me) as the person to supported my entry into nursing. I first knew her at Kanabec Hospital where I was a Candy Striper, then a Nurses Aide. I went on to nursing school and now teach nursing at a university. Please know the impact that Jean had on me and my life. She will be remembered with love.
    God Bless

  9. To the Ahlgren Family, Our sincere condolences to the entire Ahlgren Family on the recent loss of wonderful Jean. She was a good friend to our family, and we remember kindly the many good times we shared at church and other social outings. Always friendly and kind, she is remembered for our common interest in travel and military service, and the interesting conversations we would have about them. She will surely be missed, and we will keep your family in our prayers as you mourn her passing. Sincerely, Ivy Johnson and Jay Johnson
