Charles William Ballantyne Jr., of Mora, MN passed from this life, and went over the rainbow, on Friday December 6, 2013 at his home surrounded by his wife, daughter, family and friends. He was 89 years old.
Chuck farmed most of his life and for 14 years he also worked for Marine Johnson Machine Company. He retired from Marine Johnson in July of 1981 at the age of 55. He never retired from farming! It was his passion and such a big part of his life and heart that he continued to work for other farmers for many years. When he wasn’t farming he was fishing and he loved catching walleyes on Mille Lacs Lake.
Chuck’s other pastime was being a BIG B.S.’er. He always had a story or joke to tell and he loved hearing them as well. He enjoyed going to the Sportsman Café and having coffee and sharing stories with his friends.
Chuck left his mark on this world–it is in all of you!!!
