Lorraine (Bassett, Loose) Draheim, of Ogilvie, died on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Mpls. She was 78 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 9 at Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora with Rev. Bob Bohachek officiating.
VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
INTERMENT will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Mpls.
Lorraine Lois (Bassett, Loose) Draheim, of Ogilvie, MN, passed away on September 2, 2013 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 78 years old. Lorraine was born to Marie and John Olson on October 30, 1934. Lorraine was taken directly from her parents’ home and was adopted by Clara and Henry Lammers. Lorraine was one of eleven children.
Lorraine married Don George Bassett on September 15, 1956. They divorced in 1976. She then married Louie Loose and the couple was united until his passing. On September 11, 1982, Lorraine married Harold O. Draheim and they were wed until his passing on September 7, 2003.
Lorraine worked for Freddie’s Restaurant in Mora for a few years. Otherwise, she spent the rest of her life as a homemaker. Lorraine enjoyed visiting with family and friends throughout her many years.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her biological parents, her adoptive parents, and unknown siblings. She is survived by her children: Annette (Gary Lazinski) of Brook Park, James Bassett of Pine City, Timothy Bassett of Pine City, Audrey Bassett (Dale Clementson) of Pine City, Steven Bassett Little Fork, MN, and Doug (Clarise) Bassett of Mora; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; step-children: Lynne (Dave) Bolinger of St. Helens, OR, Janine Rivera of Mora, Renee Draheim of Coon Rapids; 11 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandchild.
Lorraine will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 9th at Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora. Rev. Bob Bohachek officiated. Pallbearers were Steve Bassett, Tim Bassett, Audrey Bassett, Doug Bassett, Cory Bassett and Michael Bassett. Interment was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
