Wilma Berry, of Ogilvie, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Elim Home in Milaca. She was 71 years old.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2013 a the Akkerman Ingebrand Funeral Home of Mora with Chaplain Jeff Matson officiating.
MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service.
Wilma Elaine Berry, of Ogilvie, MN, formerly of Isle, passed away on August 4, 2013 at the Milaca Elim Home at the age of 71 years.
Wilma was born January 20, 1942 to Wilmer and Elsie (Witt) Scott in Ford Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota. Wilma graduated from Isle High School in 1960. On March 18, 1962 she was united in marriage to Eugene Berry. To this union a daughter, Vicky, was born on January 8, 1963.
Over the years Wilma held a number of jobs including farming, hauling milk, as well as working at various positions at Izaty’s, Woodcraft, McQuiods and Northern Inn to mention a few.
Wilma is survived by her daughter Vicky Berry and her partner Brian Stoffel of Ogilvie; brothers Delmer Scott of Cambridge, Donald (Monica) Scott of Bloomington; sisters Judith (Richard) Streed of Brooklyn Park, Ruth (Duane) Fladebo of Minnetonka, and Hazel (Wes) Mohn of Mora; aunt Vera Gunnarson of Seattle, WA, uncle John (Dorothy) Scott of Isle; aunt Millie “Dolly” Smith of Mora; plus many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, August 9th at Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Mora. Chaplain Jeff Matson officiated.
