Chad Allen Stamper of Brook Park, Minnesota was born September 15, 1997 and left us to be our Angel on June 29, 2013. He was only 15 years old: a life short-lived, but full of love and adventure.

Chad was born in Mora, MN and grew into a fine young man at his home along the Snake River. Chad had 5 brothers and 3 sisters, with whom he made so many memories.

Chad had so many friends and nicknames like Cash, Whitey, Q-tip, and of course, Chad Mullet Stamper, which he claimed so proudly. Chad was a leader and was very comfortable and confident with himself and the choices and people he surrounded himself with.

Chad loved the outdoors. He built so many memories with his Dad, brothers, sisters, friends, and Grandpa, out hunting and fishing, and had so many fun times on the river with family and friends.

Chad had a lot of school spirit. He was so proud to be a Mustang. He had such a drive and passion to do better and his best to win. Chad loved his horse, Charlie. They both had such a free spirit.

Chad was a loving son, wonderful brother and grandson, a fun uncle, and a good buddy to everyone. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chad was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Homer and Ermadine Stamper, maternal grandmother Reneé Larsen, and cousin Timothy Ridge.

He is survived by parents Randy and Kerry Stamper, siblings Cody Stamper, Cohl Stamper, Rachel Stamper, Raquel Stamper, Kristy Nelson (Jordan), Eric Miskavige, Travis Stamper, and Nick (Amber) Awalt; nephews Colton and Caleb; nieces Neveah and Hailey; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial service was held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mora with Rev. Dave Keippela officiating. Music was provided by Greg Larsen and Abby Kvam. Honorary Urn Bearers were Travis Stamper, Cody Stamper, Cohl Stamper, Eric Miskavige, and Nick Awalt.  Inurnment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

  1. Carrie and Randy, Our most heartfelt and deepest sympathies to you! Chad was a wonderful young man. I will never forget him singing with the band – boom boom boom; his white blond hair flowing in the wind; and his personality – always kind, respectful and gracious. Blessed be his memory!

  2. I am so sorry for your loss, for the community’s loss of Chad. He was so full of fun and energy. He and I would tease about the fact that it isn’t always a good thing when a substitute teacher knows your name. Time will ease the pain, but no one ever takes our children’s place in our heart and lives. My deepest sympathy and prayer for all of you as we’ll as his friends.

  3. When I look at Chads picture, it is like looking at his beautiful mother. When I continue to look, I can see his fathers family in him. Such a good looking young man. Such a heartbreaking loss!!
I surely wish I had some words of comfort. My heart is so heavy and there is nothing I can say to ease your pain.
You have been and will continue to be in my prayers!! May God above clothe you in peace and give you strength!
