Gayle loved her job and all the people she worked with currently and in the past in the MN office.  She really enjoyed traveling and was lucky enough to visit many different places in the world.  She had a special “green thumb” and loved flowers and plants, taking after Grandma Myrtle Sjoberg.  Gayle was a generous person with a big heart!  She enjoyed volunteering and giving back to the community.  Her favorite volunteering activities were Meals-on-Wheels and cooking lunch for kids at the Brainerd Family of Life Lutheran school. She loved to cook for anyone and hosted many parties in her past, cooking for and spending time with family and friends.  Her laugh was one-of-a-kind!  Remember her giggle and smile!

We have fond memories of Gayle and all the neighborhood kids playing in our backyard and rolling down the hill with the acorns in the fall and sliding down the hill on the snow in the winter. Our sympathy to Al and Mary and the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked with Gayle in NSP Energy Marketing. I currently work for NSP Transmission and have stayed in touch with Gayle through the years. She will be deeply missed. She trained me when I started and she was tough, but that is what I will miss about her, no nonsense and she told you exactly what she was thinking even if you didn’t want to hear it. That is what made her who she was.
