Rebecca Erbstoesser, of Stanchfield, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was 38 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Braham Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev. Steve Jennisch officiating.

VISITATION will be held two hours prior to the service, 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church.

INTERMENT will be at Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham.

Memorials are preferred, in lieu of flowers.

Rebecca Rae Lee Erbstoesser “Becky,” of Stanchfield, formerly of Clinton Falls and Medford, Minnesota, passed away on April 6, 2013. She was 38 years old.

Becky was born in Steele County, in Clinton Falls Township, on March 14, 1975, to Ronald and Shirley (Sanborn) Lee, the last of four children. She attended and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1993. Becky then attended Austin Community College in her senior year and graduated in 1994.   Becky and Terry Erbstoesser were married on April 10, 1999, in Braham, Minnesota at the Braham Evangelical Covenant Church. Becky was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Medford, Minnesota. Upon her marriage, she became an active participant in church in Braham. She acted as a Sunday School teacher and met many other areas of the church’s needs.

Becky and her children were active in North Ridge Rangers 4H Club. Her love of children led to nineteen years of caring for multiple day care kids. 

Becky’s interests included caring for her family and farm, the out of doors, and a love for animals. She enjoyed camping, canoeing, sewing, and caring for her garden. Most of all, she loved her children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Lee, and her grandparents.

Becky is survived by her husband, Terry; three children: Sarah Elizabeth, Lillian “Lilly” Ester, and Gunther George; mother, Shirley Lee (John) Regitschnig; mother and father-in-law, Max and Mary Erbstoesser; brother, Robert (Becca) Lee; sisters, Kathryn (Doug) Katzung, and Barbara (Chad) Katzung; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends; special friends, LeAnn and Paul “Uncle Mike” Sanborn, Carol and Max Eng.

Rebecca will be greatly missed by all, leaving an empty spot for all. May her memory bring a smile to us all.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Braham Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev. Steve Jennisch officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Interment will be at the Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham.

She was a loyal provider with a passion and love for children beyond expectations. She gave 100% to hose who needed her. She will be missed and thought of often.

  20. My heart breaks for you all. I remember going to the hospital when she was born. I believe I was like 7 but I do recall the whole Merritt family waiting in the lobby to hear the news. It’s impossible to find words to say that would comfort all the emotions and sorrow we feel. And the questions will never be answered while we are still here on earth.
    So I will use the words of our great and awesome Comforter Jesus Christ. In the book of Job somewhere it says.. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

I met little Becky lee when I married into the merritt family and remember all the family leafin trips together and sliding down the Clinton falls road in front of the Lee house to the bridge… She was always a fun loving youngster… Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss!
