Noel Person, of Stanchfield, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at his home in Stanchfield. He was 68 years old.

Noel Vincent Person, of Stanchfield, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at his home.
He was 68 years old. Noel was born on February 26, 1944 in Rush City, Minnesota to parents Earl and Junette (Erickson) Person. Noel attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in South Minneapolis in 1962. He then served in the United States Army, being stationed in Alaska. After his discharge, Noel returned to Minnesota and began his career with the Minneapolis Fire Department. Noel served at several different stations around Minneapolis, and in his later years worked as an inspector until his retirement in the late 1980’s.
Noel enjoyed spending his free time trap shooting in Braham and teaching others to shoot. He was an avid Nascar fan, watching and discussing the races with his friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed cooking and watching the trains. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters, Elaine (Dennis) Nilsen of Stanchfield, and Nancy (Carl) Larson of Coon Rapids; nephews Ben (Laura) Nilsen, Dan Nilsen, Ron (Amanda) Nilsen, and Grant Larson; great nieces and nephew Nathan, Nicole, and Lucy Nilsen; many other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service and inurnment was held at the Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham. Condolences may be posted at www.aifuneralhome.com
